Description |
You have some kitchen experience and are looking to develop your skills. You will be aware of food and kitchen standards and conform to the highest standards at all times. You are capable of assisting the Head Chef in the preparation of consumables and to relieve in the absence of the Deputy Head Chef.
Assist the Head Chef and Deputy Head Chef. To prepare all garnishes to accompany the main meal and sweet courses. To prepare the sweet courses. To assist in the preparation of picnic lunches. Maintain standards of food and kitchen hygiene. Maintain standards in food preparation. To relieve in the Deputy Head Chef, Kitchen Assistant and Kitchen Porters absence
City & Guilds 706 - 1 & 2, or equivalent (achieved or working towards) * Basic Food Hygiene Certificate - imperative you have this * Good communication skills * Team player * Ability to work on own initiative * Prepared to undertake Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable)
