February is the month of love. Here at Personnel Selection, we are possibly a bit less cynical about that than some people. It can actually be a very positive thing to sit back and take a reminder of the things in life you genuinely love. When we say that we don’t mean in the hearts and flowers sense, what we mean is the things in your life that you really enjoy doing. The things that make you happy or deserve recognition as something good in life. February with its unpredictable weather, gloomy days and chilly nights seems a great time to remember the things that matter.
Doing something we love
For over 40 years now we have been doing a something we genuinely love, and that is placing people into a job that makes them happy. If recruitment is your calling, and honestly it really is for many people, then it is difficult not to be happy doing it. Our clients love the service and quality we provide for them as you can see in our testimonials. When you get reviews that use words like ‘excellent service’ and say that you are ‘important’ to their businesses, of course you are proud of what you do. It pushes you to give a little bit extra. In the process of placing the right person into our clients’ teams, we are also helping the candidates to find work that really suits them and makes a difference in their, and often their families’ lives. That is something that really means a lot to the team here.
Recruitment is a brilliant career, yes it can also be frustrating, of course it has bad days, but overall it is fantastic to work here at Personnel Selection, and the reason for that is the team. So, in the spirit of showing the love for our clients and candidates, it is time to give a bit back to some people who really deserve recognition, and award our annual Personnel Selection awards.
Annual Personnel Selection Awards – 2016 Winners.
Branch of the Year:
Andover
The team at Andover are consistently excellent in their service to the client and the candidate. It doesn’t matter if they are working on a single placement or a long-term staffing roll out because they give the same excellence to everyone.
The success of any company is down to the team that makes it successful. These are the most difficult awards to choose because we don’t have anyone who doesn’t deserve recognition.
However, some people have really shone in 2016, so the awards go to:
Consultant of the Year winner:
Emma Ganner – Frimley Branch
CEO of the Year winner:
Loren Burton – Andover Branch
Employee of the Year winners:
Joely Maisey – Head Office
Saifon Cox – Head Office
These are the people who made 2016 particularly special. They are the rising stars and the steady rock on which our business is built, so as we head into March and the bulk of 2017, we want to say thanks, and give a little bit of love to the people who make us who we are.
