We are an international manufacturing and distribution company seeking an Administrator working Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5pm from our modern office to support our Sales Administrators on an ongoing basis until Jan 2019. We can offer a generous hourly rate plus holiday pay and free parking.
Due to a recent migration of business from an old system to a new one, we require an Administrator to assist the Sales Administrators in researching previous customer information and quotation details. Working across 5 different spreadsheets to research information such as pricing, previous quotes, customer records and any special discounts. Extracting the information and collating onto a bespoke data sheet to then provide the Sales Administrators with the required information on each customer and their previous buying history. This will allow the Sales Administrator to then go ahead and make an accurate new quotation.
Preparing customer orders books, loading orders onto the system, looking at reports to analyse customer delivery dates and checking the dates match the delivery schedules from Japan and liaising with the sales administrators who will then update the client accordingly.
The work is anticipated to last until the end of the year with the backlog of outstanding quotes and continued high volume of work but could run longer and may result in a permanent role being offered. The role will be quite repetitive so you should enjoy working with excel, data and information. You should have a good eye for detail, a thorough approach and be very accurate. Solid excel skills and a confident manner to provide the best support to the Sales Administrators to enable them to move ahead with the new quotes.
Previous experience of sales admin or order processing would be beneficial, being a confident user of excel and having a good head for figures and accurate keyboard skills.
