Our client is looking for a Breakfast Chef for this lovely Hotel in Brighton on the seafront, the requirement is for 30 hours per week over 5 days, the breakdfast shifts are from 5.30am to 11am mid week and the weekend are 6.30am to 11.30am.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the breakfasts and the buffet are prepared and presented to a very high quality.
At the same time, keeping all working areas clean and tidy and ensuring no cross contamination
Prepare all miss-en-place for breakfast buffet and/or any other meal periods
Ensure food stuffs are of a good quality and stored correctly
Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
Report any equipment maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
Candidate must hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Must have a Positive attitude
Good communication skills
Be able to work under pressure in a busy environment
Ability to work on own or in teams
Salary: £9 per hour + holidays
