My client is looking for an expereinced Catering Officer / Head Chef to work alongside an existing team.
Dealing with elderly residential home meals, you will be providing nutritionally balanced options, catering for specific needs and requirements of the residents. Catering roughly for 35 to 37 people.
Hours are alternating shifts of 7.30am – 3.30pm one week and 10.30 am to 6.30pm following week. Occasional weekends may be required.
- Cooking, preperation and planning lunches and supper meals daily
- Stock control and ordering of food
- Liaising with catering suppliers for equipment and products
- Cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen
- Ensure food safety standard are adhered to within kitchen.
- Fridge / Freezer checks
- Any other kitchen / cook related duties as and when required.
