Due to expansion, we are now seeking a client focussed Customer Service Sales Advisor to join our busy team in our Camberley offices joining an existing team of sales advisor’s supporting our business customers. We promote and encourage the gaining of insurance qualifications and internal progression amongst our staff.
We are looking to give an opportunity to suitable applicants who are seeking their first or second office-based role within a sales or customer service role and therefore no previous experience is required, albeit some retail or office-based sales experience would be an advantage.
Working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm and 1 out of 4 Saturdays 8.30am – Midday, we offer an annual salary up to £23k dependent on experience with free parking, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, death in service life cover and employee benefits which give discounts at thousands of retailers, plus discounted insurance products. We will also offer study support to the suitable candidate funding their education through the CII as a minimum requirement, investing in our people.
Working within the Commercial Insurance department within a team of 11, you will have a customer services background and happy working in a sales service environment. The role is predominantly concerned with dealing with insurance policies, pro-actively securing the interest of the customer and ultimately finalising the sale of the policies. There is no cold calling in this role but the ideal candidate will be able to speak to clients at all levels and react to sales enquiries, cross selling products where applicable.

As the Customer Support Consultant, you will join a busy and dynamic team, where you will provide a high level of service and professionalism to our customers. This role does not involve any cold calling and is more a reactive consultative sales role, dealing with inbound phone enquiries and general public walk in enquiries.
As the Customer Service Sales Advisor, the main duties will include:
- Dealing with existing customers with new or existing policies
- Following up with expired policies
- Dealing with claims and following the process through
- Liaising with other brokers, insurers and keeping the customer up to date at all times
- Dealing with any queries either over the telephone or via the email
- Up selling our products
To be successful for the Customer Service Sales Advisor, you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to hold a professional business conversation. We are not necessarily looking for previous experience however, the suitable applicant will have the aptitude and desire to work within a customer service role and want to carve a career within our sector.
