We are an established and recognised ground maintenance organisation who have recently been awarded Investors in People Gold Award. With the forth coming Summer season fast approaching we are now seeking a full time Seasonal Maintenance Gardener to join our growing team at our Aldershot site covering the South East. This role is to start in March with a commitment up until October. You will work a standard 40 hour working week with over time available paying £8per hour plus holiday pay, full uniform provided, paid breaks, paid lunch and paid travel time.
We specialise in comprehensive grounds and landscape maintenance services and interior plant maintenance to the commercial and public sectors. We supply into a number of blue-chip companies, including Show Homes, Shopping Centre’s Health Centre’s and care homes.
Working as one of our Seasonal Maintenance Gardeners your day to day duties will be as listed below:
Taking on new jobs and arranging your route for the day.
Loading the van up with stock on a daily basis
Install new plant displays.
Cutting and trimming of plants.
Strimming of plants and mowing of lawns
Making sure that all area’s are kept clean and tidy at all times
Reporting back the Team Leader with any queries or problems.
You will be have previously worked within a similar Gardening/Maintenance/labouring role servicing to various businesses including lawns, plants, outdoor garden displays and feature items. You will have used a variety of gardening equipment including mowers, blowers and strimmers ensuring our clients facilities and gardens are maintained on time and to specified requests and plans.
In addition, you will be happy to work on your own initiative, be willing to work over time during our busy period, have a clean driver’s license, be a self-starter and be confident working under a busy working environment.
