Personnel Selection Recruitment are seeking a Production Assistant to join a prestigious design and manufacturing company.  They are a small friendly company and are looking for people that will integrate well into the team.

• Own transport essential as location is rural

Desirable experience

• Production assembly experience of small precision products
• Experience of production assembly gluing processes
• Technical knowledge and ability to read engineering drawings
• Ability in using small jigs and hand-tools
• Understanding of quality processes

The position will involve working in a production environment assembling and testing disposable medical probes. Responsibilities will include:

• Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures
• Perform basic inspection process to ensure suitability of components
• Assemble all parts as per specified manufacturing processes
• Check output to ensure highest quality
• Maintain equipment in good condition
• Keep records of production quantities and time
