Sous Chef – Shepperton – Competitive Salary – 48 hours per week

Our Client, a hotel based in Surrey is currently looking for a strong Sous Chef to join their team.
As the Sous Chef you will be working closely with the head chef to provide a high quality of food and service. You will be running the kitchen in the Head chef’s absence so should have some experience of ordering, stock control, managing a team, Health & Safety etc. The Head chef is extremely good with regards to quality and standard of food as well as the running of the kitchen so it is an excellent opportunity for the candidate to learn and develop.
As the Sous Chef you should ideally be qualified to NVQ Level 2 and must have previous experience as a sous chef working in quality establishments such as hotels, restaurants, conference and events centre etc. You must have the ability to run the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence, be passionate about food, hardworking and reliable.
