Our client is looking for a strong Chef de Partie to work under the guidance of the Head and Sous Chef and to be part of a brigade of 6 chefs in a busy country hotel with an extensive banqueting operation and restaurant with two rosettes.
The kitchen services three function rooms with a combined facility for over 200 people, a busy restaurant, bar and terrace which attracts both residents and non residents.
Your main responsibilities will be for all junior chefs within your section, ensuring that food preparation is to the highest quality possible whilst ensuring that the utmost levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained. Also stock rotation and taking into account of food wastage will be an important part of your role.
It will be a 40 working week- these hours are spreadover either 4 days or 5.
This a temporary role and could lead to a permanant contract for the right candidate.
Straight day shifts- no splits
Salary: £10.50 - 11.00 per hour + Holiday pay
