Due to our continued growth and our return to mortgage lending, we are recruiting for an additional Mortgage Operations Specialist within our newly established Post Completions Administration and Customer Service team, working alongside our wider Customer Service and Operations department. We are seeking candidates with experience in the mortgage sector who are seeking their next challenge as part of a growing and successfully business. We are a well established 3rd party Mortgage Servicing and lending company specialising in the buy to let mortgage sector offering a Mon to Fri 9 am to 5pm working week, competitive salary up to £28k plus bonus up to 15% of salary and a full benefits package plus 25 days holiday.
The main focus of the Mortgage Post Completion Administration and Customer Service role is as follows:-
To effectively manage the successful onboarding activity of post completion loans.
Carryout all onboarding data and documentation checks.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the information and customer account details has transferred correctly.
Deal with any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Ensure Legal documents are received, accurate and stored securely
Contact new customers to welcome them post completion and act as a point of contact for initial enquiries.
Ensure the successful transfer of legal title and post confirmation of initial registration.
Ensure any Limited company account loans are satisfactorily registered at Companies House
Ensure compliance and adherence at all times to the TCF principles and all other regulatory requirements.
Act at all times in accordance with the requirements of the SM&CR
The main duties will be as follows:-
Complete all post completion onboarding checks
Issue new customer welcome letter
Complete initial welcome call
Provide a prompt and comprehensive telephone response to all new customer queries
Provide a prompt reply to all written customer correspondence
Check the accuracy of all legal documents and deal with any discrepancies or non-conformity Chase solicitors and customers as required
Communicate with the customer in a manner that is fair, clear and not misleading
Take ownership of any queries that arise and adequately investigate.
Refer queries outside area of responsibility to obtain a satisfactory resolution.
Act with integrity, due skill, care and diligence in all dealings with customers and 3rd parties
Correctly identify a possible complaint and strive to satisfy customer grievances promptly
Liaise with other departments within the Company to ensure optimum service for the customer and minimise risk to the Company
Demonstrate flexibility and adapt to changing priorities
Evaluate working processes and procedures and look for improvements
Adhere to all 3rd party servicing agreements and SLA’s to avoid financial penalties
Produce required MI for onboarding activities
Promote a positive image of the business
To be successful as one of our Operations Specialists within the post completions administration and customer service department, you will have previous experience of working within the mortgage sector from an administration or customer service role. Otherwise, knowledge of mortgages from other roles such as high street banking may be considered.
